Coach Bariş Övünç has over 35 years of fencing experience as Sabre athlete and coach. As an athlete, Bariş trained under Olympian Viktor Krovopuskov, winning 80 national medals, and 8 international medals. 10-time Turkish National Champion, and 15-year member of the Turkish National Team, Coach Barış provides world-class training at his fencing club ÖVÜNÇ Eskrim Akademisi. He has Fencing Master diplomas from both the Turkish and German Fencing Federations. His coaching career produced over 300 medalists at Turkish national championships. Aylin Çakır - Member of Olympic Team, Member of Bronze Medalist Junior Team at 2020 European Championship, Bronze Medalist at 2018 Junior European Championship and Member of Bronze Medalist Cadet team, Gold Medalist at Junior Mediterrenaen Games in 2018 and multiple medalists at Div1 National Champ

Melis Sarıçam – Member of Gold Medalist U23 team at European Championship in 2017, Multiple Gold Medalist in Div 1 National Champ.

Hakan Akgün – Bronze Medalist at 2010 World Cup – 2012 Junior World Championship 12th- 2009 Cadet World Championship 14th - Multiple Medalist in Div 1 National Champ

Tolga Aslan – 2021 Cadet World Championship, 11th place, Multiple Medalist at National Champ.
